The Butcher, the Baker, the Cappucino Maker

It was love at first sight the moment I laid eyes on BBCM's colorful sunburst latte. I'll admit that my attraction was purely superficial at first. I just knew I had to get my hands on one. So when my former boss and good friend, Susan invited me to brunch to celebrate my 20 years with our organization, I didn't hesitate so select this location.

Thankfully my love affair with the charming Sunset Plaza cafe only grew once I arrived. Our waiter, Jimmy, was friendly and accommodating from greeting to departure. We were also tended to by several other waitstaff ensuring all of our needs were met. Pretty drinks and tasty treats are great, but excellent customer service go a very long way with me. The service here is fantastic!

Okay, but the food, right? The menu ranges from healthy fare to utter decadence (can you say banans foster french toast?). We decided to be good today and each opted for the breakfast bowl and the sunburst latte (approximately $60 total). The bowl consisted of grains, avocado, black beans, eggs, and mushrooms. A bit extra to add chicken apple sausage. Neither one of us could finish our meal due to the portions being so generous. I do feel that a return is in order on a cheat day to conquer other parts of their menu. Like their chocolate milkshake topped with s'mores. Yeah.

The BBCM cafe is located at 8653 West Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood. There is metered street parking as well as a lot in the rear of the establishment.
